Everything we install is under warranty for one year except turf seed, sod, perennials, annuals, groundcovers, and transplants. The root systems of these items are very small and fragile. Due to their small size they require more frequent watering during their establishment period. In some cases, watering may be required daily during the hottest periods of the growing season.
Please note: ILT will not warranty plant material that is not properly watered.
Hardsurfaces (patios, walks, pergolas, etc.) that are installed outdoors are subject to the extreme conditions of our climate. Therefore, over time, materials may crack, split, or settle. Please ask your project manager to explain any special conditions (shade, lack of air circulation, existing drainage issues) on your property and the impact they may have on the performance of your new hardsurfaces. ILT Vignocchi cannot warranty hard surface materials subjected to these conditions.
ILT conducts a final quality inspection a few days prior to the completion of the project to ensure it has been installed to our standards. We sincerely encourage customers to protect their investment by contracting with ILT to perform regular maintenance where a staff horticulturist will be assigned to your project to insure the evolution of the original vision.
By the time you have had your new landscape professionally designed and installed, you will have made a significant investment that will contribute to the value of your real estate. You probably wouldn’t allow your home to go without proper care and maintenance as it would deteriorate quickly and lose value. The same applies to your landscape. Our professional turf and plant health care program will better ensure a healthy and enduring landscape. A horticulturist will be assigned to manage your property and assist you in additional needs you may have on your site (i.e. garden and seasonal color design).
There is another reason maintenance is so important for your new landscape. New plantings beds are prepared in a manner that promotes plant growth and health; however it is also creates a very desirable environment for weeds. This is normal for a new landscape. Weeds will become less of a problem as perennials and groundcovers take over, but removing weeds is vitally important to the health and aesthetics of your landscape. If weeds are allowed to take over, it can be cumbersome and costly to remove them.
